Thermoelectric Generator 

This small scale generator converts waste heat from your appliances into electricity. Peltier tiles (a module that converts temperature differences into energy) rest against the hot surface. The CPU heat sink aids in creating a higher temperature difference, by displacing the heat.

Water Turbine generator

This generator converts water pressure from your tap to electricity. The propeller is connected to a 120 DC motor. The pressure of the water is used to spin the shaft of the motor. Using a diode the motor is forced to create energy rather then consume.
